You can use your HSBC account to make payments with Comma, via your phone and desktop.

Known limitations

  • BACS payments cannot be made between accounts owned by the same customer. Users are seeing this error even when they are not paying their own account and a fix is coming for this issue early January by HSBC.

  • Requires BACS permission in HSBC Online Banking to allow Bulk Payments.

  • Payments will be made 2 working days from the date payment is setup if it is setup on a working day, or 3 working days from the date payment is setup if it is not setup on a working day.

  • HSBC have a daily payment limit of £25,000 via online banking and £10,000 via mobile app.

    • This can be increased to a maximum of £100,000 via online subject to relationship manager approval

  • For future dating bulk payments, please select the date the payment should be with the payee (within 45 days).

  • New Payees will need to be verified for the first time in HSBC using the Security Key device

How to cancel a Future dated payment

  1. Select 'Manage payments'

  2. Press 'Pending payments' (view or cancel a payment)

  3. Select the payment you wish to cancel

  4. Click 'Delete'
